About CFO Voice

CFO Voice collects what chief financial officers say on the record: sentences their companies attribute to them by name in earnings releases and in transcripts the companies publish themselves, plus interviews a human editor conducts with CFOs who agree to one. Its sister publication, CFO Tribune, keeps the record of who holds each CFO seat.

Who it is for

People who follow finance leadership: sitting CFOs and their teams, boards and audit committees, recruiters, researchers and reporters. We write short, sourced entries that can be checked in a minute.

How it is made

Software agents read SEC filings and company releases and draft records. An automated gate checks every draft against the rules on the methodology page. Then a human editor reads each draft against its source and approves it, or does not. Nothing about a named person publishes without that approval.

What we do not do

• We do not characterize departures. We quote the company's filing, word for word.
• We do not offer views on stocks, valuations or outlooks.
• We do not invent people, quotes, dates or interviews. What we cannot establish, we label as not established.
• We do not paraphrase inside quotation marks.
